Yasuhiro Fukushima (福嶋 康博 Fukushima Yasuhiro?) (born August 18, 1947 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido)[1][2] is the founder of Japanese video game software giant Enix and largest shareholder of the company's successor, Square Enix following Enix's merger with Square Co., Ltd.[3] As of 2010, Fukushima is ranked #34 on Forbes Magazine's "Japan 40 Richest" list with an estimated networth of US$710 million.[4]

In November 2009, he was awarded with a Medal of Honour with blue ribbon by the Government of Japan.[5]
